Rain Delay Edition ☔️

After a soggy stretch that saw more rainouts than runs, we’re finally drying off and gearing up for a return to the diamond. Please read below for important information on special events, upcoming games and ways to get involved and help our Franklin Little League community thrive! 

• LITTLE LEAGUE NIGHT @ FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY GAME: The Franklin Sabers Varsity Baseball team is hosting Little League at their home game tomorrow night.  Game starts at 4:30pm - come early and meet the players.  Many of them were once little leaguers, including my son Dillon!

• VOLUNTEER SIGN UP – Please sign up to volunteer here.  You can find the week your team is assigned to here.  Please sign up for a 2 hour slot preferably during your assigned week.  Volunteers must be 14+.  The team with the most slots worked will receive a pizza party at the end of the season!

• MINORS, MAJORS & JUNIORS:  Thank you everyone for making Opening Day memorable.  Schedules will start to pick up this coming week as we get into the season AND make up games.  End of the season Tournament Schedule will be out next week.

• ROOKIE & TEE BALL:  It was great to see everyone at the Meet & Greet - please make sure that you connect with your coach if you have any scheduling and uniform issues.

• DONATION SHELVES:  Don’t forget to check out our donations shelves for equipment - located in the concession stand near the bathrooms. 

• SPONSORSHIP & FUNDRAISING:  Join us for a special Fundraiser Game Night.  Get your tickets today!  By purchasing your tickets, you’re not just getting a great night of baseball—you’re investing in our athletes and their dreams! 

• RAINOUTS & CANCELLATION NOTICES: Games will be called by 4pm.  Information will be on the website and an email will go out if games are cancelled.  We guarantee 10 games played in the season, and schedule 12-14 games to be sure.  We strive to reschedule as soon as possible, however, interleague games are the most difficult to reschedule and may not be.
